For outdoor cooking equipment, material selection matters because the appliances are exposed to:

WARRANTY
Wildfire's current limited warranty provides different coverage periods depending on the component.
 
The warranty documentation lists two-year limited coverage for several major components, including the stainless-steel housing/frame, cooking grids, warming rack, flavor grids, cast stainless burners, infrared burners, valves, and manifold, while ignition systems and electric/plastic components have one-year limited coverage. Specific exclusions and warranty requirements apply.
 
For warranty service, customers are asked to register their products and provide information such as the model number, serial number, proof of purchase, and description of the issue.
