Water Care
We include the CleanZone® Ultra dual sanitization system, ozone plus UV, on every tub and swim spa that can accept it. Most dealers sell it as an upgrade. We add it in standard.

Your Size
Swim spas come in 12, 14, 16, and 18 foot lengths, and the right one depends on whether you're mainly swimming, mainly soaking, or both.

Compact, around 12 feet. The RF2 runs 146 inches long with seating for five, 25 jets, and 1,127 gallons. A good fit when yard space is tight and you want hydrotherapy with swimming as a bonus.

Mid-size, around 15 feet. The RL5 is 180 inches long and 56 inches deep, holding 2,100 gallons. Fewer seats and deeper water, built for people whose priority is actually swimming and exercising.

Full size, 18 feet. The DM8 is 218 inches long with 37 jets and four pumps, and it's dual zone. The swim end and the hot tub end run at separate temperatures, so you can swim laps at 85 degrees and then move to the other end at 102 without waiting for anything to change.

That dual-zone DM8 is the model worth seeing in person. It's the closest thing to owning a pool and a hot tub in one footprint.

Every American Whirlpool swim spa comes standard with the Northern Exposure® Insulation System, which layers recycled natural fiber, a copper lining, and 3M Thinsulate™ around the shell. That package is engineered specifically for cold-weather operation, and it is a large part of why we carry this line in Missoula instead of a brand built for Arizona.

The frames are steel sub-structure rather than wood, so there is nothing in the base to rot or warp through years of freeze and thaw. The cabinetry is DuraMAAXâ„¢, a wood-alternative material that handles Montana sun and snow without refinishing.

A swim spa splits the difference between a hot tub and a pool. Electrical Hookup
Every American Whirlpool swim spa runs on 240V, and most of their hot tubs do as well. That means a dedicated circuit with a disconnect, which is licensed electrical work.

You have two options and we are happy either way. We can bring in an electrician as a subcontractor and coordinate the schedule so your spa is ready to fill the day it arrives, or you can hire your own and we will give them the specifications ahead of time.

Either way you will know the requirement before you buy, not after the tub is sitting in your driveway.
Site Preparation
Your spa needs a level, load-rated surface, and these are heavier than most people expect. A full swim spa can approach 20,000 pounds. For the larger models a poured concrete pad is realistically the only option, and we will tell you that before you buy rather than after. Smaller hot tubs give you more flexibility, including a properly reinforced deck.

We walk the site with you ahead of time, including how we will get the unit from the street to its final position, so delivery day holds no surprises.
Delivery, Installation, and Service
We deliver and install every hot tub and swim spa we sell. You are not handed a phone number for a freight company and left to sort out the rest.
